OLD BUSINESS:

  • It was reported the Pumpkin Festival went well. The numbers were not in and will be reported next week.
  • We are still looking for information to go into the news letter such as events, business happenings, announcements, products, etc. Please submit to: newsletter@canyonvillechamber.org.
  • Jim Siegel reported approximately 850.00 was made on the Rodeo.
  • Downtown Trick or Treating was another great success this year. Thanks to all who came out to participate.
  • It does not look like we will be buying the new chamber decals for the year 2011 (we have 2010) due to rising costs. T. Hoff said will look into making them.

NEW BUSINESS:

  • The downtown assoc will be coming around with a business survey. Please take the time with them. Your input will be very helpful.
  • Doug Sales is working on a Christmas celebration happening after the Christmas tree lighting. He would like for retail business to extend their hours for that evening. If you would like more information please call Doug at Kens Sidewalk CafĂ©.
  • SUVA will be doing an Art Gallery. They are looking for contemporary or recycled arts. Please contact pam@suvagallery.com
