Present: Dan Barzee, Madalyn Dixon, Joanne Gordon, Pam Landell

1. Discuss Budget: Present a request for a meeting with the Chamber Board to determine a budget for the marketing committee. Possible needs are quarterly newsletter, postcard mailing for mixers. (Chamber board agreed to meet with us when we are ready)

2. September business mixer will be Jim Siegel, Chiropractor.

3. Madalyn suggested doing a downtown "just for fun event". This was tabled for later

4. Joanne will check on letter Pam Young is sending. Findings: letter is ready and will be mailed.

5. Madalyn volunteered to do the newsletter. Deadline for articles and information is Sept. 18. Suggested articles are: A featured business, upcoming events, individual business news, business of the month. The newsletter will be folded for mailing at the Oct. 2 Marketing Committee Meeting and will be mailed to all Chamber of Commerce members.
